This is the best uniform of Star trek Classic series:good gold velour fabric,wonderful color!The unique problem that I found is that the command grades on the sleeves are not sewed along their sleeves but they are attached with a light adesive glue!Before to order this product,you must to ask in the specific requirements sector, a better fixing of the grades using a white or an invisible sewing.This little upgrade will take a five stars vote!!!I hope that in the future,there will be red and blue version of this product with the same fabric high quality velour.Thanks. I was hesitant to order a custom made product over the internet, since I've read a lot of horror stories about *other* sites on the web. Still, I gave it a try, and I have to say, I'm so impressed with the quality of this item. It was made to my exact measurements (and, I'm a pretty big guy!), the craftsmanship is good, and it arrived in a timely manner. I even took the advice of the other reviewer about requesting the sleeve rankings be sewn on and not just glued, and they came out perfect! The shirt is made of very nice cotton, good quality. The color is perfect and the workmanship is amazing. There is even a bit of lose material to fit the shoulder blades. The shirt feels great when I put it on, and may I say, every day. The adhesive on the command grades are still holding, but maybe they will have to be sewed later. Again I was very impressed with thte material when I got the shirt. It has the same velour effect as the show once washed. Great costumer service, very quick email replies. I agree with everybody before; the shirt itself is great quality, and made exactly to my specifications. Given my size, this is difficult to pull off (I am 6 foot 10). My chief complaint, however, is that the rank insignias on my sleeves were clearly painted gold and not left to dry... my shirt has gold paint all over the sleeves and there is white visibly showing on them. I should be able to clean it off and re-paint it, but still, I would hope that some more attention would be paid. Overall, excellent tailoring, but somewhat careless painting. I took the advice of all the reviewers of this costume and had the stripes sewn on. It came out perfect! The colors are perfect and the patch and stripes are awesome, Just like in the show! I recommend this costume to anyone looking for the perfect inexpensive captain Kirk outfit. As a first time buyer, I am buying from this site again in the near future. ;) (Posted on 5/15/13)Quality
